♥ Great company (hello, roomies!).
♥ Yummy tapa and chocolate truffle torte!
♥ My first Monopoly Deal win. Thanks, Mimi for teaching me how to play!
♥ Trying out water sports: hobie cat, stand up paddle surf, and pedal kayaks.
♥ A safe flight to Legazpi and back to Manila.
♥ A pack of my new favorite 3-in-1 (thanks, Blanche!)—Old Town Hazelnut! Super yum.
♥ Being able to get away for a bit...
♥ ...and coming back home to my dad who was so excited to see me!

Thoughtful Thursday

Went to the launch of Samantha Sotto's book Before Ever After with Marla and Mia last week. I read up about her story and how she got published by Random House (OH MY WOW!) and got so inspired. I started her book and I still can't believe that she just started writing all of it after watching The Time Traveler's Wife and then spending most mornings in a coffee shop while waiting to pick up her kid after school. A-mazing! Makes you believe that dreams really do come true and that the first step towards making them come true is taking action!

Fashion Friday
One of my favorite flats finally died a natural death, when it just split through the middle last Thursday night. Sniff. I loved that pair and I'm sad they don't sell the same model/color anymore. I ended up getting a pair of comfy flats on sale. (:

Take me on a trip, I'd like to go someday

I didn't realize I haven't been updating until a friend told me to blog here already. And when I checked this morning, I saw that my last entry was over a month ago!

I've gone on three vacations already (2 to the beach and 1 to the mountains). Almost through fixing all my requirements for another vacation. And celebrating the birthdays of my May loves.

I got on a plane by myself this year. Waiting two whole hours alone in an airport and did not once wish I had someone with me. Treated myself to a well-deserved vacation and enjoyed immensely. The last time I did this was two years ago.

Just when you think things aren't going to get any better than this, God still has some surprises up his sleeve. This year is turning out great. (: Couldn't ask for anything more. I am so blessed.
