Been spending a few minutes between work, perusing beautiful blogs that make me miss writing here. Sometimes, there's just too much to do that I just completely forget that I have this little space online that has nothing to do with my everyday job. Allow me to restart this—again.

{ 01 Living in my black faux croc skin slip-ons lately, Topshop; 02 I've been a little lazy in the morning so I just brush on a bit of this True Match skin idealizing BB cream under my eyes and all over my eyes before doing a simple cat eye. It's a shade lighter than my "true match" so it kind of works like a concealer and highlighter for me, L'Oreal; 03 I know the rainy season is here, but I love the subtle glow I get from sweeping a bit of this blush on my cheeks, Happy Skin; 04 I can't wait for Jason Mraz's new record to come out next month! So happy he uploaded a few tracks, Spotify; 05 Starting a new series with one of my faves: Lee Pace, Halt and Catch Fire }

I haven't been making anything lately, but yesterday, after a tiring and stressful week, I just had to do something crafty. Haven't used the nib I got from Alessa's workshop a couple of weeks ago because I don't have a desk in my room. But I made do with my bedroom floor. Waited for the ink to dry before painting over it with watercolor. Planning to buy a frame to put this in to give to my best friend. Her daughter just turned 3 months on her 30th birthday. (: The words are from one of my favorite John Mayer songs.

It's funny how Pottermore is making me feel like a giddy kid again. It's amazing how a simple book has turned into its own magical world—movies, a theme park (!!!), and an online portal! Got so stressed getting sorted (I got into Ravenclaw—not Gryffindor, where my heart truly belongs!) and figuring out potions (I ruined two because the site keeps crashing!), but it's so awesome! I remember spending afternoons with my mom, looking at her shelves filled with different shapes, sizes, colors of beads. There were Swarovski crystals of all sizes and colors, quirky beads from India, and glass pearls that looked like real ones. I finally asked Ate Elena and Pedro, our house boy, to unearth this box filled with all the pretty stuff. I have yet to find her wires and chains, but I've found some I can make charm bracelets with. I'm excited!

Hoping for sunny skies for the next four weekends. I'm going on a trip with the Candy Girls two weeks from now. I badly need color on my skin (I'm so pale!) so a little sun won't hurt. The Candy Fair is happening the week after and we all don't want another Ondoy to happen. Then on the last weekend of September, I'm attending one of my good friends' sister's wedding. It'll be on the beach! Plus, I don't have anything to wear to that yet! Eep. I wish one of these dresses would magically appear in my closet.

Check out this new (and super pretty!) shopping website called Miss Match. There are lots of brands featured that you can create your own looks with. There are also some pretty images you can add to your look (find Stephie's cute stickers!). My best friend is going to love this site!

A Very Macy Christmas To You!

I've had this play list for a couple of years now and keep adding a few new songs I find on the Interwebs. I think my favorite is Jason Mraz ♥ Tristan Prettyman's "All I Want For Christmas (Is Us)." And also Belle & Sebastian's "12 Days of Christmas." And "Baby, It's Cold Outside" from the Elf sound track. Okay, maybe it's safe to say, I like all of the songs. I've got a few more from Sufjan Stevens and Belle & Sebastian but you can't upload more than 1 track from the same artist on 8tracks.
