The randomest post EVER

Apart from the tiny white space between my header image and the Blogger nav bar (Yay! thanks, Mark!), I'm happy with my new layout. I was supposed to upload this to Multiply, but I couldn't make it work. Ha ha! So here it goes. Good bye, Utagai!

I'm the proud owner of these new babies. I love them so much, I wore my new Vandals to my friend's surprise party last night. The theme was "Harajuku" so I just threw on this shirt I got for cheap at the department store. It has a cute drawing of half a Jap girl face (with blunt bangs) and the word "Konichiwa" printed across it. I paired it with a pleated denim skirt and my new shoesies. I would've gone all out with a pair of knee-high socks (haha), but it was too hot and I didn't want to attract unnecessary attention. d:

Not exactly Harajuku, but what the heck. At least I was sort of in costume. d:

I Think I'm Turning Japanese

I've been obsessing over this amazing artist for the past week. My brother showed me her work last year and I was blown away. It wasn't until early this week that I started checking out her website. I looooove her! I even found an illustration that had a strange likeness to me. I used it as my YM icon, and I had people asking if it were me. d: I WISH!

...which is why you see a new layout before you. All knowledge of HTML has left me, so I just used an old layout and tinkered with it a bit (in fairness, nag-Notepad lang ako. Ha ha!). I had to revert back to Blogger's "classic template" because *gasp* I have no idea what XML is or how you even code it. Ha ha. Gone are the days when I would whip out a new layout for my website week after week. Sigh. I miss those days. Kind of.

New Digs!

I barely touch the layout of this blog, because I don't understand how the Blogger template works. Ha ha! I used to have such a broad knowledge of HTML. But now? I am reduced to knowing tags limited to customizing how text looks and adding images. Boo.

Nothing really new except for the background (I have a thing for the color grey/gray and diagonal lines) and the header (I also have a thing for clouds, apparently). Some of you might already know that I Google (now, Blackle) for fonts when I'm bored. I am obsessing over the two fonts (sets of font? eh.) you see on the header. I ♥ you, TrashHand and King Cool KC!

A question for YM9 users, does it sometimes not show your status message? Because, among other obsessions, I love changing my status message from time to time. And this morning, if refused to show anything. I quit YM and re-opened it, but it still wouldn't change my status. Harrr.

Oh this could be magic after all

My lame attempt at a collage is staring you in the face right now. Haha! I totally suck, but what the heck. My other header image was boring me. This one's slightly similar to one I made before. Just a few of my favorite things haphazardly cut and pasted together. Har har.

While the rest of the world is finishing up Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I am just starting Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Haha! And don't lecture me about downloading e-books online. I am simply too cheap to go out and buy the actual book. d:

On a very random note: I have another new song on repeat. Kuya Mong played it on his iPod for me yesterday while my dad and I were waiting for the driver to bring us to Church. I ♥ it. I'm a sucker for songs with lyrics like "Out of control, I don’t know where to go/‘Cause you were my map when I found you." Kamown. I only have Phantom Punch. Anyone care to recommend another Sondre Lerche album?
